These theatres have been designed by cinema architects Audio Visual NZ with careful consideration to site lines, digital projection, and Dolby sound. Theatre consultants Marshall Day Acoustics NZ have specified the highest standard in cinema environments. Fresh air and venue temperature (21 degrees) are controlled by Hartnell Coolheat ChCh. Inspirational decor and lighting layout is by The A-Team interior designers. The Deluxe is confident patrons will appreciate the level of comfort, sophistication and relaxed atmosphere they have achieved.
Deluxe was voted the best independent cinema in New Zealand for 2017 by the NZ Motion Picture Council.
Deluxe was also voted the best independent cinema in New Zealand again for 2018.
